We are seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager / Data Engineering Architect to steer large, enterprise-scale data engineering and analytics initiatives. This position calls for deep expertise in cloud data ecosystems, delivery governance, stakeholder coordination, and client-facing execution.

What you will do
- Take end-to-end ownership of the program plan, roadmap, and delivery for data engineering and analytics workstreams, including batch and streaming pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, BI, and ML use cases.
- Work closely with business and technology teams to shape the problem statement, evaluate solution options, and decide execution paths.
- Lead large-scale platform rollouts on cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, using modern tools like Databricks and Spark.
- Coordinate several projects and initiatives at once while keeping delivery on track for schedule, quality, risk, and cost.
- Guide and support TPMs, project managers, and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Set up program governance through review cadences, KPI monitoring, executive dashboards, and clear stakeholder updates.
- Promote Agile delivery practices and raise overall delivery maturity.
- Track and resolve risks, interdependencies, and escalations in complex client programs.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and solution architects to build scalable data solutions.
- Own client-facing communication and executive-level reporting.
- Support adoption of the solution and help drive measurable business outcomes.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities such as solution design, effort estimation, proposal development, and client presentations.
Candidate profile
The role requires 12 to 16 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or platform delivery, with at least 6 years in Program Management or Technical Program Management. The ideal candidate has delivered large-scale data and analytics programs in consulting or client-facing settings, understands ETL/ELT, data lakes, data warehouses, and distributed data processing, and has worked with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Practical exposure to Databricks, Spark, and Airflow is important. You should be comfortable managing multiple client engagements and distributed teams, and have a strong grasp of Agile/Scrum and scaled delivery models. The ability to convert business challenges into data-driven solutions is essential. Experience in retail, CPG, BFSI, or healthcare is preferred. Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, budgeting, cost optimization, ROI tracking, and pre-sales/consulting experience will be valuable.
