Job description

About the Role

This is a high-impact, highly visible product leadership position focused on shaping customer-facing data, analytics, and AI capabilities. Rather than simply managing a backlog, the person in this role will help define the strategy behind predictive models, analytical features, and SaaS data products that are meant to deliver measurable business value. The work sits at the intersection of product management, data science, engineering, and executive-level customer collaboration.

The role is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond internal tools and build AI and machine learning experiences that influence revenue, adoption, retention, and expansion. You will work closely with strategic clients and design partners to uncover needs, validate concepts, and bring new product ideas to life.

What You Will Do

  • Set the direction for external AI/ML capabilities, advanced analytics, and data products by owning the predictive product roadmap.
  • Work directly with strategic customers and design partners to test ideas, understand real user needs, and shape next-generation features.
  • Collaborate with UX and data science teams to convert complex algorithms and backend outputs into intuitive visualizations and compelling demos.
  • Bridge business problems and technical delivery by turning customer needs into technical requirements, transformation rules, and data specifications for engineering and data science teams.
  • Partner with product marketing and sales to launch features that improve adoption, retention, and ARR growth.
  • Use data analysis to assess assumptions, explore product opportunities, and validate hypotheses before development begins.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in product management, data analytics, or data engineering.
  • Strong understanding of business strategy and product thinking, with the ability to connect technical features to customer ROI.
  • Comfort using SQL to write joins and aggregations for independent analysis.
  • Experience working with modern BI or visualization tools such as Sigma, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present to executives, align cross-functional teams, and discuss data modeling with engineers.
  • Familiarity with a modern data stack such as Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, and Sigma is a plus.
  • Experience in complex B2B SaaS environments, especially field services or building services, is highly valuable.
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for lightweight analysis is beneficial.
  • Exposure to machine learning workflows or productionized models would be an added advantage.
