VentureAssist AI is creating an AI-driven business assistant platform designed to support founders and startups from the very first idea through execution and growth. The product brings together idea validation, business planning, branding, website building, supplier discovery, marketing support, and financial insights in one ecosystem so users can make informed decisions while keeping full ownership and control. The company’s mission is to remove the hurdles caused by limited expertise or resources and help entrepreneurs launch and scale with confidence.
Role Overview
This is a high-ownership founding opportunity rather than a standard engineering position. The company is seeking a technical partner who wants to help shape the direction of VentureAssist AI and contribute to the creation of a global SaaS platform. In this role, you will lead the technology direction, guide product development, define the system architecture, and help turn the product vision into a scalable reality. You will collaborate closely with the founder on product planning, technical choices, investor conversations, future hiring, and the development of a strong engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and drive the technical roadmap and architecture for VentureAssist AI.
- Build the MVP and develop the platform beyond the initial release.
- Choose the most appropriate technology stack for the product.
- Develop robust backend and frontend systems that can scale.
- Connect AI capabilities such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and future model providers.
- Create APIs and manage integrations with external services.
- Set up secure cloud infrastructure for the platform.
- Define engineering workflows, CI/CD processes, and development standards.
- Maintain high levels of scalability, reliability, and security.
- Help hire, onboard, and mentor future engineering team members.
- Take part in strategic planning, fundraising, and investor meetings.
- Refine the product continuously using customer feedback and market signals.
Preferred Technical Skills
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building modern SaaS products and working with AI technologies. Relevant experience includes React/Next.js, Python with FastAPI, Node.js, PostgreSQL, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, GraphQL, authentication and security, Git, CI/CD, AI APIs, AI agents, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.

Compensation
This is an early-stage founding position. At the beginning, compensation is expected to be mainly equity-based, with the intention of moving to a salary once funding or revenue milestones are reached.
