Team Member - Inhouse WellBeing Score

About the Role

The position is part of the Clinical Data Analytics team in Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company Ltd, offering an essential contribution to health analytics development. Reporting directly to the Deputy Vice President & Head of Clinical Data Analytics, this role is key in establishing the statistical foundations for population health initiatives including Wellbeing Scores and Corporate Health Indices.

This role involves validating, refining, and maintaining statistical models that support measures such as Wellbeing Score, Family Wellbeing Score, Corporate Health Index, and Lifestyle Scores. It demands applying advanced statistical and causal analysis techniques to guarantee data-driven insights are accurate and facilitate business and customer engagement objectives.

Collaboration is integral to the role, requiring coordination with various stakeholders including business teams, technical experts and subject matter professionals to improve population health strategies and customer experience. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring robust data governance and automating model update and reporting workflows to maintain efficiency and meet regulatory compliance.

Challenges

• Integrating diverse data sources including claims, policy, wellness, and external health data
• Ensuring data quality and standardization (using ICD codes, lab data, etc.)
• Complying with ABDM guidelines and data privacy regulations
• Developing scalable and efficient SQL queries
• Aligning data architecture with business requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data pipelines and SQL queries to ensure performance efficiency
• Maintain high data quality and implement validation frameworks to uphold dataset accuracy
• Create analytical datasets for underwriting, claims, and wellness analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions
• Automate recurring data processes and reporting to increase operational efficiency

Relationships

Frequent internal collaborations with DRM, BIU, Digital, and Marketing teams occur monthly or as needed to define micro cohorts, share insights on health improvements, correlate risk stratification with other data, and enhance customer engagement such as app downloads for health data collection.

This position reports to the Manager, with details maintained through formal sign-off processes.
