Job Overview

Join the West Lancashire Domiciliary Service as a full-time Team Manager in Adult Social Care at Lancashire County Council, based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. This permanent position offers a salary ranging from £32,061 to £36,363 annually, with additional allowances including a 33% pay increase for weekend work, 50% extra on Bank Holidays, and on-call payments.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Team Manager, you will lead in supporting individuals within the Adult Disability Service, helping improve their daily lives. Your role includes welcoming service users into their homes, assisting them with personal care, household tasks, managing finances, medication, and enabling community involvement through various activities that enhance their quality of life.

You will also manage weekend shifts, bank holidays, and on-call duties from 8 PM to 8 AM, providing emergency support to the community support team remotely.

Candidate Profile

While prior Health and Social Care experience is not mandatory, a caring disposition and positive attitude are essential.
