About the Role

Park Hyatt Doha is a luxury five-star hotel located in Msheireb Downtown Doha, known for its refined accommodation, full-service spa, and panoramic skyline views from the Sora Rooftop Restaurant. The property is hiring an experienced and committed Team Leader - Stewarding to strengthen its hospitality operations.

Role Summary

In this position, you will lead the day-to-day work of the stewarding team and make sure kitchen equipment, dishware, and food prep areas are kept spotless, orderly, and properly maintained. The job calls for solid leadership ability, close attention to detail, and a strong focus on hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

As stewarding team lead, you will supervise routine department activities, coordinate cleanliness across back-of-house areas, and help ensure that all equipment and supplies are handled correctly. You will also support your team in meeting operational standards in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should bring 2 to 3 years of stewarding experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably in a busy hotel, restaurant, or catering environment. A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required, while a diploma or certificate in hospitality management or a related field will be considered an added advantage.

You should have a strong understanding of commercial dishwashing systems, industrial cleaning agents, and safe handling practices. Working knowledge of local health and safety rules, including HACCP standards, is also expected. The role further requires excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to guide and inspire a varied team.

This position can involve long hours on your feet, lifting heavy items, and working in a hot, busy environment.
