Job Overview
In the role of Team Leader, Rostering, you will manage a small team responsible for producing precise staff rosters and maintaining workforce records, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of rostering officers, offering guidance, training, and support.
- Develop and update staff rosters up to six weeks in advance, balancing operational demands and workplace regulations.
- Oversee roster data, timesheets, and attendance logs to ensure accuracy, addressing complex challenges effectively.
- Offer expert advice on rostering practices, workforce management systems, and employment agreements, promoting continuous improvement.
- Maintain detailed workforce records, generate reports, and assist the Human Resources supervisor as required.
Candidate Profile
- Experience utilizing workforce management software such as TimeTarget, Humanforce, or Kronos.
- Background in rostering, human resources, payroll, team leadership, and applying enterprise agreements.
- Advanced skills in workforce systems, Excel, and data analysis.
- Thorough understanding of rostering strategies, enterprise agreements, and workforce planning principles.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities combined with supportive leadership and effective communication.
- Flexible and inclusive approach to teamwork.
Work Environment and Compensation
- Annual salary ranging from $81,496 to $98,955 plus superannuation.
- Full-time, ongoing position based in Geelong, Victoria.
