Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader to spearhead the development of the Multinational Enterprise (MNE) business in the Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad region. This role demands actively nurturing and expanding business relationships, driving growth in asset and liability portfolios, and managing the onboarding of multinational corporations and new-age businesses. The candidate will also be instrumental in liaising with consultants, legal firms, venture capitalists, and private equity players to influence business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the MNE business expansion in Mumbai and actively onboard MNCs located in Pune.
  • Establish and maintain strong, enduring relationships with consultants, lawyers, CA firms, venture capitalists, private equity players, and other stakeholders.
  • Achieve significant growth in assets and liabilities portfolios, focusing on multinational corporations and emerging businesses.
  • Monitor and pursue foreign direct investment (FDI) and foreign exchange (Fx) deals, particularly within the New Economy Business vertical, including startups.
  • Advise corporate clients on funding strategies, product selection, and maximizing the bank's return on investment.
  • Originate deals, structure client financing solutions, secure credit approvals, and oversee implementation across large corporate clients.
  • Cross-sell a diverse array of banking products such as treasury services, liabilities, debt capital markets, syndications, investment banking, corporate finance, and knowledge banking.
  • Regularly monitor client account performance and seek opportunities to increase wallet share.
  • Collaborate closely with operations to ensure smooth transaction execution and efficient onboarding processes.
  • Identify target segments for the Escrow product and drive focused efforts in these areas, including digitizing the escape journey and ensuring process efficiencies.
  • Evaluate credit and risk profiles of clients, structuring tailored financial solutions, including project finance, acquisition finance, and off-balance sheet financing.
  • Ensure all products and processes comply with applicable laws, including FEMA regulations, and internal risk and compliance standards.
  • Lead people management initiatives by fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and high performance within the team.
  • Participate in recruitment, retention, engagement, and performance management of team members; mentor and develop talent.
  • Set guidelines and implement audit procedures to maintain high standards of documentation, compliance, and process adherence.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with product partners, risk management, relationship management, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and timely response to inquiries.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will have 10 to 14 years of relevant experience specifically managing Escrow products, complemented by preferred experience in sales relating to trade finance, supply chain management, or closely associated fields.
