Role overview
Sharaf DG is looking for a driven Team Leader for its Hunting/Kiosk Business in Dubai. This role is centered on leading a sales team that focuses on winning new telecom customers, expanding market reach, and delivering revenue growth through active business development.
What you will do
- Guide and supervise a team of hunters responsible for bringing in new telecom customers.
- Shape and execute sales plans that support acquisition and revenue goals.
- Spot new business prospects, build leads, and manage opportunities through to closure.
- Develop strong working relationships with decision-makers and other important contacts in target accounts.
- Set measurable targets for the team and provide coaching, training, and day-to-day motivation.
- Track individual and team performance through KPIs and take corrective action where needed.
- Run regular sales reviews to discuss pipeline status, issues, and winning approaches.
- Create an environment that encourages accountability, improvement, and high achievement.
- Use CRM systems properly for lead management and forecast tracking.
- Review sales figures and convert data into practical recommendations for better performance.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and finance teams to keep sales activity aligned with wider business objectives.
- Monitor telecom market trends, competitor moves, and shifting customer demand.
- Share market feedback with management on pricing, service enhancements, and business opportunities.
- Explore partnerships and other channels that could create additional revenue.
- Oversee kiosk and outdoor sales operations as part of the role.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a similar discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development within the telecom industry.
- A strong history of hunting new business, winning customers, and surpassing targets.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor a sales team.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and sales automation tools.
- Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and managing stakeholders.
- Experience selling telecom solutions, enterprise connectivity, or ICT services is preferred.
- A strong professional network in telecom, IT, or enterprise circles is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-focused environment.
- Good knowledge of telecom products, activations, and related processes.
- Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Well-organized, able to manage time effectively, and focused on results.
Additional information
This position requires a leader who can balance frontline sales execution with team development, operational discipline, and commercial strategy. The role is based onsite in Dubai and is intended for someone who can directly influence acquisition outcomes, sales productivity, and revenue growth.
Tools and working style
You should be comfortable using CRM and sales automation systems, analyzing performance data, and working cross-functionally with internal departments. A hands-on, metrics-driven approach is essential.
