About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Team Leader Field Technician (Cleaner) to manage and supervise cleaning staff and operations in diverse settings including residential, commercial, and industrial sites. This leadership position involves organizing the work schedule, training new employees, maintaining cleaning equipment, and ensuring that all cleaning procedures align with health and safety protocols. The successful candidate will consistently enforce high standards of cleanliness and customer service, working effectively with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise cleaning teams in various environments, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Oversee field operations to enhance productivity, efficiency, and service quality.
- Train new and existing cleaning personnel, and recruit new talent.
- Conduct site inspections to confirm adherence to cleanliness and safety requirements.
- Manage cleaning equipment maintenance and supplies inventory.
- Assist in walk-through inspections and recommend additional maintenance when necessary.
- Process payments for special cleaning assignments.
- Support cleaning personnel with their duties and operate power tools including carpet machines and pressure washers.
- Carry out junk removal related tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to quality control in the cleaning industry.
- Ability to work independently with keen attention to detail.
- Possession of a British Columbia Class 5 Driver’s License.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial and residential cleaning techniques, including post-construction cleaning.
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical fitness required to meet the demands of the role.
- Experience working in a restaurant environment is considered an advantage.
- Willingness to commit to at least two years with the company.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of $23
- Work schedule of 35-40 hours per week
