Team Lead, Information & Cyber Security

About the Role

As a Team Lead in Information & Cyber Security at Access Bank Plc located in Dippa Kunda, you will play a pivotal part in driving the organization's security agenda. You will be responsible for spearheading information security awareness across the group, ensuring compliance with international standards, and providing effective leadership for enterprise security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sustain security awareness throughout the bank.
• Maintain and update risk and asset registers, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
• Oversee service level agreements and collaborate on project management to facilitate successful project delivery.
• Supervise bank projects, tracking timelines and investment returns.
• Control program budgets to prevent overspending.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
• Keep the bank continuously certified to applicable ISO standards.
• Formulate strategic direction to achieve enterprise security goals and ensure program effectiveness.
• Develop and update dashboards highlighting essential security metrics, KPIs, KRIs, and project milestones.
• Carry out additional assignments as delegated by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline (Master’s degree is advantageous).
• Professional certifications in project management and/or information security (such as ISO 27001 implementer/auditor) are highly desirable.
• A minimum of six years’ experience in similar roles or within related fields.
