Role overview
Woolworths Group is looking for a part-time Team Experience Operations Specialist based in Longburn, Manawatū-Whanganui, New Zealand. This position is scheduled for 20 hours each week and is organised across Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday shifts.
Roster
The current roster includes Tuesday 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Wednesday 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Friday 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and Saturday 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
What the role involves
- Oversee an assigned workstream by keeping the process moving smoothly and maintaining flow.
- Work in close partnership with the Team Leader and the wider “swarm” to improve efficiency.
- Make sure tasks are completed without interruption and that all established procedures are followed exactly.
- Run routines that support accurate and timely completion of operational work.
- Guide the team to ensure the work is completed properly and to standard.
- Support workforce planning activities such as scheduling, multiskilling, recruitment, succession planning, onboarding and training.
- Promote a healthy and safe workplace by following safety procedures, reporting hazards, and monitoring compliance requirements.
- Escalate process issues promptly to the Function Lead so they can be resolved quickly.
- Step into an Acting Store Manager role on scheduled shifts when required.
- Help strengthen team collaboration through “Better Together” connections.
What you should bring
- Strong focus on process quality and a willingness to keep learning.
- Ability to build effective working relationships across functions and stakeholder groups.
- Confidence in leading teams, assigning work, tracking progress, coaching, giving feedback and keeping people motivated.
- Solid knowledge of compliance in the relevant function, along with excellent communication skills for explaining expectations and standards.

- The flexibility to work four weekend shifts each month and at least one evening every week.
