About the role
This position is for a mathematics educator who can help improve AI systems by creating and assessing challenging math-focused prompts and answers. The work calls for expert-level mathematical reasoning, with relevant backgrounds that may also include applied mathematics or computer science.
What the work involves
- Design varied and complex mathematics problems for AI chatbots.
- Review model responses and judge whether they are accurate and effective.
- Assess the overall quality of AI outputs, including correctness and performance.

What you should bring
- Strong command of English at a native or bilingual level.

- A current, ongoing, or completed Master's degree and/or PhD is preferred, though it is not mandatory.

This is an independent contractor arrangement. Payment is processed through PayPal, which also handles any USD currency conversion. No payment or fee will ever be requested from applicants. Only candidates based in New Zealand will be considered.
