iQ Lingua has been operating for more than 10 years as one of Germany’s leading language schools, with over 15 locations in major cities across the country. As a subsidiary of Schülerhilfe, the organization supports both private learners and major retail and service companies with a wide range of language and professional-skills training options. Schülerhilfe is one of the leading providers of qualified education and tutoring services in Germany and Austria.
The team is looking for motivated teachers on a fee-based contract to deliver various German courses at the Hamburg-Eppendorf location, starting immediately.
What this role involves
- Running language classes and handling the follow-up work after each session.
- Helping learners build communication skills so they can use the language confidently in practice.

What the employer is looking for
Applicants should ideally have begun or completed studies in German as a Foreign Language or a related field. Experience in adult education is important, and prior work in German as a foreign or second language is especially desirable. The role also requires the ability to teach language knowledge in an engaging and motivating way, along with a valid work permit for the EU.
