Teacher (KG, Lower Elementary Homeroom, Math, Sciences, English)

Role Overview

Dar Jana International Schools in Jeddah is looking for a full-time classroom teacher to support KG, lower elementary homeroom, Math, Sciences, and English instruction. The role focuses on creating an engaging, supportive learning environment while delivering lessons aligned with school standards and student needs.

Lesson Planning and Delivery

• Implement the weekly lesson outline provided by the coordinator.
• Create and deliver lessons that account for different learning levels within the classroom.
• Develop unit plans and lesson plans that clearly define the skills, standards, lesson objectives, and teaching steps to be covered.
• Apply differentiated teaching methods to support varied learner needs.
• Use classroom technology such as Google Apps and Google Classroom to enhance instruction and help students learn both inside and outside the classroom.
• Encourage active participation and maintain a professional, supportive approach when giving students guidance, feedback, and encouragement.

Classroom Management

• Keep classroom behavior orderly and disciplined.
• Adhere to the school’s rules and disciplinary procedures.
• Address behavioral issues appropriately on campus and in the classroom.

Assessment and Evaluation

• Prepare monthly and semester revision materials and tests while keeping them confidential.
• Review homework and classwork, and assign marks for quizzes and exams promptly.
• Check copybooks and homework every day.
• Prepare regular progress updates and evaluation documents.
• Maintain accurate records of student development and performance.
• Compile and present clear reports on student progress.
