Job Overview
The Waldolf British Academy is recruiting experienced educators to fill multiple teaching and administrative positions, including Academic Lead, Administrative Lead, and various classroom teachers across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Primary, and Secondary levels. Specialized roles include Humanities, English, Mathematics teachers, Administrative Officer/Accountant, and a Diction Instructor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead academic and administrative functions for designated school sections (EYFS, Primary, Secondary).
- Deliver instructional lessons aligned with the Nigerian and British curricula.
- Oversee school improvement initiatives and foster community engagement.
- Support child development and character education.
- Manage administrative and financial tasks if assigned to administrative roles.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years leadership experience required for Academic Lead position.
- Demonstrated success in school improvement, team leadership, and community building.
- Strong familiarity with academic standards and curricula, including Nigerian and British frameworks.
- Relevant work experience in education or administration.
- Proficiency in ICT and an innovative approach to teaching.
- Educational qualifications such as HND, B.Ed, B.Sc, B.A, or equivalents.
Location
This role is based at Igbo-Etche Road, Rumuokwurusi by Eleme Junction, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
