Taxi Dispatcher / Controller (Airport Transfer Dispatch - UK)

Role Overview

Our UK-based client is seeking a seasoned Taxi Dispatcher / Controller experienced in managing airport transfers within London. The position demands exceptional coordination skills, familiarity with specialized dispatch software, and the ability to operate efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign and dispatch bookings through INSOFTDEV software.
• Continuously monitor drivers and active trips in real time.
• Communicate effectively with drivers about bookings, scheduling updates, and operational matters.
• Manage inbound customer inquiries, booking requests, and reservations.
• Resolve operational challenges and provide ongoing driver support during shifts.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations Team to uphold service quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience as a Taxi Dispatcher or Controller with a focus on airport transfer operations in London.
• Comprehensive knowledge of London postcodes, airports, and nearby locales.
• Minimum one year hands-on experience using INSOFTDEV dispatch software is required.
• Proficient spoken and written English communication skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, pressure-filled environments.

Preferred Skills

• Prior involvement in the UK private hire or taxi industry, especially airport transfers in London.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and route management techniques.
• Experience handling a large volume of bookings while delivering excellent customer service.

Working Hours & Location

• Shift schedule rotates across three shifts: Morning (5am-1pm), Day (1pm-9pm), and Night (9pm-5am).
• Workdays: Monday through Sunday with 4 off days each month.
• On-site position based in Commercial Market, Rawalpindi.

Additional Information

Candidates must be prepared for an in-person interview and able to work rotating shifts. Those without airport transfer dispatch experience or only local taxi company background will not be considered.
