Overview
We seek a Talent Engagement Manager for a mission-driven nonprofit based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This contract position offers part-time, hybrid work with potential transition into a long-term full-time role. The role involves leading recruiting efforts across various positions and enhancing the overall hiring process and candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end recruitment activities from job intake to offer stage, ensuring an efficient and organized hiring process.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment covering a wide range of roles, from entry-level to leadership positions.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates aligning with job criteria and organizational culture.
- Maintain up-to-date job postings, monitor requisitions, and handle offer documentation through the applicant tracking system.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to grasp staffing needs, provide market insights, and help make informed hiring decisions.
- Enhance candidate experience by delivering consistent, thoughtful communication throughout recruitment stages.
- Evaluate and optimize recruiting workflows for improved efficiency and potential automation.
- Track hiring metrics to identify trends and support workforce planning.
- Utilize Paycom as the main recruiting platform, ensuring accuracy in system usage and process adherence.
- Adhere to a hybrid work schedule: 30 hours weekly initially with mandatory office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays; flexible Wednesday hours based on operational needs.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruiting within corporate or organizational environments.
- Expertise recruiting for diverse job levels, including high-volume and specialized roles.
- Ability to build strong partnerships with hiring leaders and effectively influence recruitment processes.
- Demonstrated skills in improving talent acquisition operations and candidate experiences.
- Comfort balancing strategic priorities and daily recruiting administrative tasks.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment management tools.
- Preferred experience with Paycom platform.
- Strong abilities in sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating candidates.
