Job description

Overview

This is a fully remote Talent Acquisition Specialist opportunity based in the United States. The role is being promoted on behalf of a partner organization, which will handle applications and the next stages of the process. It is a strong fit for a recruiting professional with deep experience in technology hiring and recruitment strategy.

In this position, you will own end-to-end hiring across a range of federal government and commercial contract roles. Your work will focus on sourcing high-caliber technical talent, shaping strong candidate pipelines, partnering with hiring leaders, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and contract requirements. The environment is fast-moving, collaborative, and centered on improving hiring outcomes while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.

Core accountabilities

  • Own the complete recruitment cycle, including intake discussions, sourcing, screening, interviews, offer coordination, and onboarding support for technical and professional roles.
  • Work with hiring managers, program leaders, and other stakeholders to clarify role needs, write or refine job descriptions, set evaluation standards, and align recruiting plans with business priorities.
  • Attract and engage technology candidates across areas such as software engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, data science, IT program management, and systems administration through multiple sourcing methods and advanced search approaches.
  • Create and sustain talent pipelines and candidate communities to meet both immediate and future hiring needs.
  • Recruit for federal contract positions that require security clearances while following compliance expectations, labor category rules, and applicable regulations.
  • Support commercial hiring efforts by understanding client environments, staffing needs, and growth goals.
  • Assess candidates through interviews, behavioral evaluations, and qualification reviews while delivering a clear, respectful, and professional candidate journey.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics, keep applicant tracking records accurate, and recommend process improvements that increase speed and hiring effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Between 3 and 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with substantial work in technology hiring.
  • Proven success recruiting for federal government contracts and familiarity with hiring cleared personnel.
  • Strong knowledge of technical roles, technology skill sets, and the competitive market for tech talent.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems such as iCIMS, Taleo, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar tools.
  • Ability to manage several open roles at once in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.
  • Working knowledge of OFCCP compliance, EEO regulations, federal contracting standards, and recruiting best practices.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently, prioritize well, and make sound decisions in a fully remote environment.
  • Preferred background includes support for Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or civilian federal agency contracts; familiarity with security clearance adjudication; experience with ClearanceJobs and Dice; understanding of DCAA-related hiring compliance; and a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or LinkedIn Recruiter credentials are a plus.

Perks and benefits

  • Annual compensation in the range of $70,000 to $90,000, depending on background and qualifications.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching.
  • Paid time off plus paid federal holidays.
  • Remote-work allowance to help support a home office.
  • Learning and development support, including reimbursement for certifications.
  • Employee Assistance Program and wellness resources.
  • Fully remote work from anywhere within the United States.
  • Limited travel, expected to be under 10%, for meetings, events, or recruiting-related activities.

Application and privacy notes

The role is managed through a partner company, and that partner oversees applications and follow-up steps. Selection is supported by an AI-assisted matching process designed to review applications against the role’s core requirements, after which the strongest matches are shared with the hiring employer. Final hiring decisions, interviews, and assessments are handled by the employer’s internal team.

By submitting an application, candidates acknowledge that personal data may be processed to evaluate candidacy and shared with the hiring employer as part of pre-contractual measures and legitimate interests under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. Candidates may request access, correction, deletion, or objection regarding their data at any time. AI tools may be used to assist with application review, résumé analysis, or response evaluation, but they do not replace human judgment.
