Role Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will oversee the entire recruitment life cycle for retail positions, collaborating closely with hiring managers to identify and secure talented individuals. Your responsibilities extend to onboarding, engagement activities, and human resource administrative functions that collectively uphold the brand’s luxury standards, delivering an exceptional employee experience.

Key Duties

• Design and implement recruitment strategies tailored to attract top retail talent.
• Develop engaging job postings distributed across various platforms and professional networks.
• Handle sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding to ensure a positive candidate journey.
• Work intimately with hiring managers to define role requirements and perform competency-based selection aligning with company values and luxury service expectations.
• Arrange interviews and offer recruitment guidance and labor market insights to hiring teams throughout the process.
• Establish and nurture a robust talent pool for retail opportunities.
• Forge alliances with educational and professional institutions to facilitate internships, graduate recruitment, and employer brand development.
• Maintain precise recruitment records, candidate databases, and metrics to aid workforce planning and optimization.
• Manage onboarding logistics including pre-employment verification, offer coordination, visa/work pass processing, payroll documentation, and employee orientation.
• Support employee engagement programs and other HR initiatives that enhance workplace satisfaction and corporate reputation.
• Administer HR information systems with rigorous data accuracy, compliance, and record maintenance.
• Oversee monthly medical invoice verifications ensuring prompt, accurate processing.
• Contribute to HR projects and undertake additional assignments to align with organizational goals.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• At least one year of experience in talent acquisition or human resources, preferably within luxury retail, hospitality, or customer service sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise recruiting frontline retail personnel in a fast-moving, service-focused setting is advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and pertinent labor laws.
• Familiarity with BIPO HR platforms is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong relationship management ability with effective stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, interview technique, and customer-oriented approach.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and capacity to juggle multiple concurrent recruitment tasks.
