Position Summary

In this remote full-time role, you will support claims recruitment as a Talent Acquisition Specialist II, taking a consultative approach to hiring. The position focuses on managing the end-to-end recruiting cycle, partnering closely with business leaders to clarify team needs, role expectations, and market conditions, and helping leaders understand the recruitment process. You will guide hiring strategy, align talent decisions with business priorities, and work with stakeholders through meetings and video conversations to build strong working relationships throughout the hiring journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle the complete recruiting cycle, including sourcing, building candidate pipelines, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, preparing offer letters, and supporting onboarding.
  • Act as a subject matter resource for hiring managers by sharing market insight, talent availability information, and practical recruiting guidance.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to shape recruiting strategy and establish service-level expectations, while strengthening working relationships.
  • Manage offers from start to finish, including salary review, proposal development, negotiation, and final candidate closure.
  • Use available data to guide daily recruiting actions, shape decisions, and support better hiring results.
  • Maintain and continuously grow candidate pipelines.
  • Build collaborative, service-oriented relationships with hiring managers and HR partners.
  • Keep recruitment system records accurate and up to date to support compliance, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to projects or lead smaller components of broader initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends and continue building expertise through ongoing learning and professional development in talent acquisition.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of talent acquisition experience with exposure to full-cycle recruiting, including candidate sourcing.
  • Working knowledge of EEO guidelines.
  • Familiarity with state and federal hiring and selection regulations.
  • Understanding of effective recruiting methods and applicant tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, procedures, and market trends.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities with careful attention to detail.
  • Good time management and decision-making skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to develop strong internal relationships and drive alignment across teams.
  • Experience advising and influencing hiring managers and stakeholders as a trusted partner.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
  • Comfort using data to support recruiting activity and hiring decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
  • Experience recruiting full cycle within the insurance industry and/or for claims adjuster roles.
  • Experience using Workday ATS for candidate tracking, reporting, and management.
  • HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
  • Cross-functional experience within Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of Michigan No Fault reform.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and claims processing.
  • Experience recruiting for training classes.

Work Environment

This role is set up for remote work from a home office for day-to-day responsibilities. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, collaborative work, or team-building activities if leadership specifies it. Remote arrangements remain subject to changes under the organization’s flexible work policy.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual pay range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000, and the role is also eligible for an annual company bonus incentive. Benefits are designed to support health, financial security, and professional growth.

  • Full-time employees receive 10 paid company holidays each year, plus 1 mental health day, 2 floating holidays, and 1 volunteer day.
  • Part-time employees receive 8 paid company holidays each year, plus 1 mental health day and 2 floating holidays.
