About ExaCare AI

ExaCare AI is a healthtech company focused on creating an AI-driven operating system for post-acute care. Its platform brings together referral sources, admissions workflows, and reimbursement systems, helping teams review documentation, assess patients, and make decisions quickly and confidently. The product currently supports more than 2,000 post-acute facilities and agencies.

The company has nearly doubled its team in recent months and plans to add 75+ more people by the end of the year. It is backed by a $30M Series A round led by Insight Partners and is building a high-performing team to reshape healthcare operations.

About the Role

ExaCare AI is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its Talent team and support a rapidly growing organization. This role will own end-to-end recruiting for a defined group of positions, develop strong talent pipelines, and help ensure a smooth experience for both candidates and hiring managers from intake through offer acceptance.

You will partner closely with Talent Acquisition Managers and hiring teams to move searches forward quickly, execute sourcing plans, and bring strong talent into the business. The role is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on recruiting execution, works well in a fast-moving startup setting, and wants to grow in a high-impact TA function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting from intake to signed offer for assigned roles across the organization.
  • Create and run multi-channel sourcing plans using tools and approaches such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, Boolean searches, referrals, niche communities, and other creative channels.
  • Find, reach out to, screen, and nurture candidates for both immediate and future hiring needs.
  • Keep candidate pipelines accurate and well organized in Rippling, with clear notes, next steps, and activity updates.
  • Handle candidate communication throughout the process to ensure the experience is timely, thoughtful, and high touch.
  • Support interview coordination, track feedback, and help keep searches progressing efficiently.
  • Track pipeline health, conversion metrics, source performance, and overall search progress for assigned openings.
  • Share ideas to improve recruiting workflows, sourcing methods, candidate experience, and broader talent operations.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or talent operations.
  • Proven ability to find and engage candidates through multiple channels, including inbound, outbound, referrals, and personal networks.
  • Solid grasp of full-cycle recruiting, including intake, sourcing, screening, interview management, offer support, and closing candidates.
  • Ability to juggle several open searches and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to keep systems and follow-ups in order independently.
  • Clear and empathetic communication that builds trust with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Capacity to work with urgency while still delivering a positive candidate experience.
  • Curiosity, coachability, and interest in growing within a team that is still being built and scaled.
  • Preferred experience recruiting for operations, product, engineering, sales, or similar startup functions.
  • Preferred familiarity with Rippling, LinkedIn Recruiter, or comparable ATS and sourcing tools.
  • Healthcare, SaaS, AI, or startup experience is a plus.

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive compensation plus equity in a fast-growing startup.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Startup environment with team off-sites and a collaborative culture.
  • Hybrid working arrangement from the downtown Toronto office.
  • Opportunity to work with a strong team that includes former Amazon engineers and alumni from Bain, BCG, Goldman Sachs, and more.

Core Values

The company emphasizes building an exceptional team, earning long-term trust with partners, keeping the patient at the center of decisions, taking strong ownership, moving quickly, communicating directly, and working together with positive energy.

Additional Information

This role is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and follows a full-time, onsite/hybrid work setup in the downtown office.

Applicants who are excited by fast-paced growth, ownership, and the chance to have a real impact in healthtech are encouraged to consider the opportunity.
