About the Employer
Our client is a construction firm located in County Kilkenny, Ireland, seeking to add a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist on a permanent basis. This role requires working fully onsite with occasional travel to regional offices across Ireland, necessitating a clean and valid driver's license.
Role Overview
- Manage recruitment processes from start to finish across several roles and regions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and craft recruitment strategies.
- Develop and administer competency assessment tests.
- Source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and direct search methods.
- Screen and evaluate candidates in line with role and project criteria.
- Organize and facilitate interview stages.
- Handle offers, approvals, and ongoing communication with candidates.
- Provide regular updates on recruitment activities and pipeline status.
- Ensure a professional and smooth experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Support participation in career events, engage with graduates, and assist recruitment campaigns.
- Build and sustain talent pools to support future hiring needs.
- Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding procedures.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies.
- Identify and implement improvements to recruitment processes and efficiencies.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Three to five years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition roles.
- A degree in Business, Human Resources, or related fields.
- Possession of a CIPD qualification is preferable.
- Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment in a dynamic environment.
- Strong candidate sourcing skills, especially via LinkedIn and direct approaches.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Highly organized with the capacity to handle multiple roles concurrently.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a professional and solutions-oriented mindset.
