Overview
Indiana University Health is hiring an experienced respiratory therapy professional to join its Talent Acquisition function as a Consultant, Talent Sourcing Intermediate. This position is based in Indiana and can be performed remotely, with occasional travel required.
The role is centered on proactive sourcing, strategic candidate engagement, and building connections with passive talent. You will manage several requisitions at once, support stronger recruiting decisions through market and sourcing insight, and help advance talent attraction efforts aimed at people who are not actively applying.
What You Will Do
- Identify, attract, and engage strong candidates from varied backgrounds through sourcing channels such as social platforms, job boards, networking, and community outreach.
- Design and execute customized recruitment approaches that reach a wide and diverse candidate pool.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, external organizations, and community groups to expand the talent pipeline.
- Partner with stakeholders, talent acquisition colleagues, and hiring managers to refine recruiting strategies, job postings, and interview processes in line with organizational values.
- Conduct screening conversations to evaluate qualifications and keep in touch with passive candidates for future needs.
- Maintain accurate candidate data and review recruitment metrics to help improve hiring performance.
- Stay informed on sourcing trends and recruitment best practices and share useful insights with the team.
Role Context
You will report to the Manager, Talent Acquisition. The position calls for a seasoned respiratory therapy expert who can contribute to inclusive talent sourcing and support a high-performing recruiting strategy.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required, or an equivalent level of experience in a matrixed organization. Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or sourcing, along with solid knowledge of sourcing methods and tools. Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management platforms, and other recruiting technologies is also required.
