Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition & People Operations Specialist responsible for managing recruiting, onboarding, employee experience, and people operations. This position encompasses end-to-end talent acquisition and daily operational tasks, promoting an outstanding employee journey from initial contact through to ongoing development and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complete recruiting cycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates across all teams.
  • Develop proactive talent pipelines prioritizing AI-savvy, high-performing candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and AI-native sourcing tools.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, and design interview scorecards.
  • Conduct structured interviews using BrightHire with consistent scoring rubrics.
  • Organize assessments, work samples, in-person interview schedules, and consolidate hiring team feedback.
  • Oversee onboarding process from offer acceptance until 90 days, ensuring readiness including laptop setup and system access.
  • Implement structured onboarding programs covering company principles, performance frameworks, and AI-first expectations.
  • Assign buddies to new hires and facilitate 30/60/90-day check-ins.
  • Provide first-line IT support including password resets, device troubleshooting, and administration of equipment inventories and refresh cycles.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors on device provisioning and security configurations.
  • Manage internal AI training initiatives, oversee participation tracking, role-specific training, reimbursement for external courses, and manager training on feedback and goal-tracking tools.
  • Maintain up-to-date learning resources in Notion and support individual development plans and review cycles.
  • Act as the central presence at the Calabasas office, organizing team events, promoting collaboration norms, and monitoring employee morale and retention risks.
  • Maintain employee records, organizational charts, and HRIS data; ensure compliance with California employment laws.
  • Handle offboarding procedures and conduct exit interviews.
  • Engage cross-functionally with hiring managers, IT, office managers, leadership, and external partners for strategic alignment and execution of talent acquisition and culture-building activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in talent acquisition, recruiting operations, HR, or people operations.
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive problem solving and strong ownership with attention to detail.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and process scalability within growth-oriented organizations.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and recruiting platforms to enhance sourcing and operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to high-growth consumer, ecommerce, retail, or startup sectors.
  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, BrightHire, and AI-enabled recruitment tools.
  • Background in workplace operations, employee engagement, and office management.
  • Passion for cultivating performance-driven cultures and outstanding employee experiences.

  • This is an onsite role based in Calabasas, CA requiring presence five days per week.
