Role Overview
Cohere is growing its Talent Team and is hiring a creative, high-performing Technical Recruiter to take on an important new challenge. In this position, you will lead full-cycle hiring for technology functions, including Research, Applied ML, and Engineering.
What You’ll Do
- Run end-to-end recruiting for a high volume of senior engineering and technical roles, ensuring a strong candidate experience.
- Work closely with hiring managers and organizational leaders to shape and improve hiring strategies, and guide decisions when needed.
- Maintain recruiting pipelines in Ashby with care and accuracy.
- Proactively identify, engage, and bring in exceptional talent.
- Launch and drive talent-related initiatives that improve recruiting efficiency and overall team impact.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- You bring 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience at fast-growing technology companies, with a focus on Research, MLE, and Engineering hiring.
- You have managed a high-volume desk handling senior-level searches in a hyper-growth startup or scale-up setting.
- You solve problems creatively and remain effective under pressure.
- You perform well in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
- You are collaborative, persuasive, entrepreneurial, and enjoy working across teams.
