About the role

Cohere is looking for a strong Recruitment Coordinator who can thrive in a fast-moving, demanding environment. This person will act as a key connection point between hiring managers, the Talent team, the People team, and other stakeholders, while also serving as a central contact for candidates and external partners.

The role involves managing the candidate journey end to end, maintaining clear and timely communication, coordinating many calendars at once, and helping run interviews for hundreds of candidates at the same time.

Key responsibilities

  • Arrange interviews and make sure both candidates and hiring teams have a smooth, well-communicated experience.
  • Own the candidate experience and build productive professional relationships throughout the hiring process.
  • Work closely with Executive Assistants to keep scheduling and coordination aligned.
  • Improve the interview workflow by increasing efficiency and automating steps wherever possible.
  • Share status updates, respond to questions, and ensure follow-ups happen promptly.
  • Assist with payroll-related tasks, onboarding, contract employee initiatives, and other projects as needed.
  • Maintain accurate internal documentation with a strong focus on detail and organization.

What you should bring

  • At least 2 years of professional experience supporting a fast-paced recruitment function.
  • Background in a busy technology startup or scale-up environment.
  • Proven ability to coordinate large volumes of interviews while managing many calendars for hiring managers and executive teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to stay effective under a heavy workload and quick pace.
  • Strong teamwork skills and experience working across different functions and seniority levels.
  • Very good time management and communication abilities.
  • Experience delivering high-touch recruitment support carefully and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
