Role Overview
American Express is hiring a Talent Acquisition Partner to support recruitment across Singapore, with a particular emphasis on technical hiring. You will work closely with hiring leaders to attract, engage, and secure strong candidates while delivering an experience that reflects the standards and values of the American Express brand.
This position suits a recruiter who is hands-on, relationship-oriented, and focused on process quality, stakeholder partnership, and a strong candidate journey.
About the Team
The Colleague Experience Group (CEG) is American Express’s Human Resources function. It supports a broad range of colleague programs worldwide, including career development, learning, leadership growth, rewards, well-being, recruitment, labor relations, and colleague services. The team’s purpose is to create an outstanding employee experience that helps colleagues do their best work.
Key Responsibilities
- Build sourcing plans and keep talent pipelines active to meet hiring demand for the American Express Global Decision Science Centre of Excellence.
- Manage the complete hiring process, from intake discussions and direct sourcing to interviews, offers, and onboarding, with emphasis on technical roles such as Agentic AI, multimodal AI, generative AI, LLM application development, engineering, and R&D.
- Partner on the Summer Internship Program across all lines of business in Singapore and support campus engagement activities at local universities, including career fairs, talks, and hackathons.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional partners such as International Colleague Strategic Partners, Compensation & Total Rewards, and Colleague Labor Relations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders by understanding business needs, sharing market intelligence, and helping shape practical hiring decisions.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager, Singapore to improve recruitment delivery and strengthen the candidate and hiring leader experience using data-led insights.
- Promote operational excellence by using recruitment technology and following global process standards and guidelines.

- Demonstrated experience handling end-to-end recruitment in a high-paced environment.
- Capacity to manage several priorities at once while maintaining strong quality.
- Comfort using recruitment systems and data to guide decisions and improve efficiency.
- Good judgment, confidence in decision-making, and strong attention to detail.
- Team-oriented mindset with experience working across HR and business teams.
