Role overview
The Marketing Executive for Acquisition Strategy, Creative & Brand helps shape and deliver customer acquisition plans and integrated campaigns across Consumer and Business Card products, as well as the New Zealand brand. The position blends campaign planning, creative coordination, and disciplined operations, with a strong emphasis on quality, efficiency, and the use of AI-enabled tools to support scalable growth.
Reporting to the Acquisition Strategy, Creative & Brand Manager, this role works with internal teams and external agencies to deliver marketing activity that is customer-focused, commercially sound, and executed with precision.

Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, delivering, and refining acquisition campaigns across paid and owned channels.
- Help develop offers, messaging, and creative approaches that support customer growth, engagement, and profitability.
- Coordinate the full campaign lifecycle, including briefing, approvals, production, implementation, quality checks, and post-campaign review.
- Work closely with creative and media partners to ensure work is timely, on-brand, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
- Track campaign results and contribute analysis, reporting, and recommendations for improvement.
- Use AI-enabled marketing tools and automation to improve creative output, campaign speed, and operational effectiveness.
- Spot opportunities to simplify workflows, strengthen processes, and increase team productivity.
- Maintain strong quality control across assets, approvals, tracking, and reporting.
- Partner with Product, Brand, Analytics, Finance, Compliance, and Governance teams to keep delivery aligned and effective.
- Stay informed on competitor activity, customer behavior, new technologies, and AI developments to support innovation.
- Assist with budget monitoring, invoicing, and campaign administration when needed.
- Ensure all marketing work follows internal governance, regulatory requirements, and brand standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing, ideally in acquisition, growth, digital marketing, or financial services.
- Hands-on experience coordinating integrated campaigns across digital and offline channels.
- Exposure to creative workflows such as briefing, feedback handling, approvals, and rollout.
- Understanding of acquisition fundamentals, including audience segmentation, targeting, testing, and performance improvement.
- Strong project management and organisation skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a disciplined approach to quality assurance and process management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management ability across internal teams and external partners.
- Comfort with analysing campaign results and turning data into practical insights.
- Familiarity with AI-based marketing, productivity, and creative tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms.
- Experience improving workflows, operations, or team efficiency through automation or process optimisation is highly valued.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
