Job description

Role overview

H&M Group is seeking a detail-focused and proactive Talent Acquisition Lead to manage recruitment activity across North America for COS and selected H&M Group brands. The position is focused on delivering a reliable, high-quality hiring experience across Mexico, Canada, and the United States.

You will report to the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager and work closely with hiring managers and People teams to guide the process and keep recruitment running smoothly from start to finish.

The scope of hiring is broad and includes office-based positions in New York and other major cities, as well as store and store leadership roles such as Store Managers, Visual Managers, and Department Managers.

What you will do

  • Manage recruitment end to end across several markets with a consistent and thoughtful approach.
  • Handle hiring for both office and retail positions in line with brand and business requirements.
  • Draft and oversee job advertisements so they are clear, inclusive, and aligned with the COS brand.
  • Support candidate evaluation through screening, assessments, and collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Organize interviews across different time zones to ensure a smooth candidate journey.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by sharing market knowledge, hiring guidance, and recruitment best practices.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive experience for candidates at every stage.
  • Keep pipeline records accurate and maintain strong data quality in recruitment systems.
  • Assist with offer preparation and onboarding so new hires can transition smoothly.
  • Continuously look for better ways of working and share useful talent insights with stakeholders.

What you need

  • A strong understanding of the full recruitment cycle, including workforce planning, intake meetings, sourcing, attraction, assessments, and offer negotiation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to advise and influence managers and leaders.
  • A solid grasp of recruitment data and analytics, including supply and demand planning, KPI tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Proven hands-on experience delivering high-performing end-to-end recruitment, from store-level roles to office positions.
  • Demonstrated informal leadership ability and a strong record of partnering with stakeholders in an advisory capacity.
  • Ability to understand key talent acquisition metrics and shape strategy to improve them.

Company values

Alignment with the company’s values is considered essential. The organization values curiosity, openness, originality, continuous improvement, ownership, and trust, and expects these behaviours to be reflected in day-to-day work.

Additional information

This is a permanent full-time role based at the Regional Office in Toronto. The position offers some remote flexibility, but because of frequent cross-functional collaboration, approximately three days each week in the office are required.

The role is offered on a local contract, and applicants must already have the legal right to work in Canada.

The closing date for applications is Friday 19th June.

Benefits and compensation

Employees receive a range of benefits and development opportunities. Benefits include a 25% staff discount on H&M Group brands in stores and online, as well as participation in the H&M Incentive Program (HIP).

  • Health and dental coverage
  • RRSP program
  • 25% staff discount
  • Vacation, wellness, holiday, and parental pay
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Employee assistance program
  • Employee referral bonus

The compensation range for this role is CAD 92,500 to CAD 121,000.

COS is committed to building inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplaces. Diverse teams are valued because they bring different perspectives, experiences, and ideas that help the organization approach challenges in a stronger way and build better relationships with colleagues and customers worldwide.
