About the Company
Our client is a prominent global mining organization seeking an Early Talent Coordinator to enhance the management of their graduate and intern programs. This position operates within the Talent Acquisition team, orchestrating early careers recruitment, onboarding, and program activities to deliver an exceptional experience for candidates, hiring leaders, and internal partners throughout the recruitment process.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Conduct phone screenings for graduate and intern applicants, ensuring a positive candidate journey and providing insightful recommendations to hiring managers.
- Arrange and coordinate interviews via Microsoft Teams, handling intricate scheduling involving multiple stakeholders across various time zones.
- Oversee the Early Talent inbox, promptly and professionally addressing inquiries from candidates, hiring leaders, HR personnel, and site contacts with a solution-oriented approach.
- Support recruitment data reporting and track pipelines by maintaining precise records and dashboards utilizing Workday, Power BI, and Excel.
- Organize pre-employment processes including scheduling medical appointments, verifying qualifications, confirming working rights through HireRight, and monitoring progress to meet onboarding deadlines.
- Maintain comprehensive and current candidate records in Workday, recording notes, status updates, and recruitment results.
- Assist with offer management and onboarding administration, which involves issuing necessary communications, tracking candidate acceptances, and escalating potential risks or delays as needed.
- Provide operational help during high-volume recruitment campaigns, managing candidate communications, assessments, and overall recruitment coordination.
Additional Information
- This role is offered as a 12-month contract with an option for extension.
- Based in Brisbane CBD, with flexible work-from-home options available.

Required Skills and Experience
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a broad array of stakeholders.
- A strong customer service orientation.
- Experience managing recruitment, learning, or HR-related activities in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- Excellent organizational capabilities with great attention to detail, capable of juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team while taking responsibility for operational execution.
