T24 Business Analyst - Core Banking Transformation

Role Overview

The Business Analyst will assist the Lead Business Analyst with business analysis tasks within a Core Banking Transformation program focused on Temenos T24/Transact systems. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting comprehensive business requirements, aiding in solution design, and ensuring technology aligns with business needs throughout the migration and enhancement of core banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead BA in completing business analysis duties across multiple transformation streams.
• Lead and participate in workshops to extract and record stakeholder business requirements.
• Create detailed Business Requirements Documents, process flow diagrams, use cases, and functional specs relevant to modules like Accounts, Lending, Money Markets, Funds Transfer, and Payments.
• Evaluate current Temenos T24 (version R18) workflows and products to identify necessary modifications for upgrade and migration purposes.
• Maintain and update a Requirements Traceability Matrix ensuring comprehensive coverage of business requirements.
• Work closely with technical teams to convert business needs into detailed functional specifications ready for development.
• Conduct gap analysis between out-of-the-box Temenos T24/Transact features and customized business needs.
• Document service domain requirements aligned with BIAN standards including definition of API interactions and contracts.
• Gather requirements related to reporting and data element definitions for core data repositories and reporting modules.
• Contribute to User Acceptance Testing by preparing test scenarios, facilitating business walkthroughs, and managing defect logs.
• Generate and maintain various functional artifacts such as business process diagrams, screen prototypes, and user manuals.
• Collaborate with project governance to manage document versioning and stakeholder communications professionally.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least 5 years’ experience in business analysis within core banking, financial services, or major banking transformation projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Temenos T24/Transact modules: Accounts, Lending, Money Markets, Funds Transfer, Payments.
• Understanding of API-first architectures and BIAN Service Domain Models.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality functional and business documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and experience navigating multicultural environments.
• Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Practical experience using tools such as JIRA and Confluence for documentation and project tracking.
