Role Overview
The System-of-Systems Integrator (SoSI) is a vital contributor within the NexGen Programme Office, spearheading the advancement and delivery of the Next Generation Air Navigation Services (NexGen ANS) capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will oversee the holistic integration and operational performance of the NexGen ANS ecosystem. Your duties include crafting comprehensive system-of-systems (SoS) integration strategies, formulating detailed plans and schedules to guarantee seamless end-to-end interoperability among NexGen ANS subsystems. You will take the helm of SoS integration operations, including rigorous testing to validate system functionality and performance metrics, as well as managing integration project risks across the board. Collaboration and communication across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders will be essential to success.
Candidate Profile
- Possess formal training in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or closely related disciplines.
- Have over three years of pertinent experience in systems engineering or comparable technical fields.
- Demonstrate strong project management capabilities, with aptitude for task prioritization, deadline adherence, and flexibility in dynamic project environments.
- Show proven track record in system integration and engineering roles, managing sophisticated integration projects effectively.
- Be proficient with development lifecycle frameworks, integration methodologies, and relevant tooling.
- Exhibit outstanding written communication and presentation competence.
- Maintain a constructive outlook alongside exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to influence stakeholders and foster mutually beneficial resolutions.
- Knowledge of Air Traffic Management, Communications, Navigation, Surveillance (CNS) systems, and aviation safety principles is an advantageous asset.
Terms and Conditions
Your role designation and level will align with your accumulated experience. Successful candidates will initially be offered a three-year contract, with possibilities for permanent placement or contract extensions.
