This role will be based out of Mumbai, Noida, or Bangalore and demands a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

As a Windows Image Creation Engineer, you will be entrusted with designing, building, customizing, and deploying enterprise-grade Windows operating system images across large environments. The role involves close collaboration with infrastructure, workplace services, and endpoint management teams to facilitate seamless OS deployment and migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, customize, and maintain enterprise Windows OS images.
• Develop and manage deployment solutions leveraging Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
• Design and implement Task Sequences for automation of OS deployments.
• Customize, optimize, and service WIM images.
• Use Sysprep, DISM, and WinPE tools for image preparation and deployment tasks.
• Configure and support SCCM Operating System Deployment solutions.
• Package drivers, inject them appropriately, and validate hardware compatibility.
• Manage processes related to image capture, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Set up and troubleshoot PXE Boot environments.
• Lead OS refresh, migration, and upgrade projects across enterprise devices.
• Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell scripts to automate deployments and improve operational efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to imaging, deployment, and endpoint provisioning.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and support teams to refine deployment standards and workflows.

Candidate Profile

• At least 4 years of experience focused on Windows Image Creation and Operating System Deployment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and SCCM OSD.
• Experienced in designing Task Sequences, performing WIM customization, and using Sysprep, DISM, and WinPE.
• Skilled in driver packaging and injection along with hardware compatibility validation.
• Experienced with PXE Boot setup and maintenance.
• Expertise in image capture, testing, deployment, OS refresh, and migration projects.
• Strong abilities in advanced PowerShell scripting for deployment automation.
• Well-versed in troubleshooting complex imaging and endpoint provisioning challenges.
• Familiar with workplace services and endpoint management environments.
• Excellent communication skills and adept at managing stakeholders effectively.
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related disciplines.
