Job description
Overview
The System Director of Radiology is responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and leadership of the comprehensive imaging program across multiple sites. This includes managing services such as Radiology, PET, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and Mammography.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves ensuring that all imaging services are delivered with high quality, efficiency, and a focus on patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory.
- Must hold current licensure in the respective state.
- A minimum of ten years experience working in a medical imaging environment.
- At least five years of supervisory experience specifically related to Quality Assurance and regulatory compliance.
Work Schedule
This position follows a daytime schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with authorization for a maximum of 80 hours every two weeks.
