Synthetic Flight Instructor

Role Overview

Air Arabia Academy is hiring a Synthetic Flight Instructor in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This full-time, on-site role is focused on delivering cadet training through approved aviation training programs and simulator-based instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cadet instruction in line with the approved operations manual and training manuals.
• Run flight simulator training sessions, including pre-session briefings and post-session debriefs.
• Track cadet performance, share constructive feedback, and suggest extra training where required.
• Keep training documentation, reports, and all related information accurate and confidential.
• Apply Airbus and Air Arabia procedures throughout the training curriculum as required.
• Remain current on aviation rules, crew resource management (CRM), and human factors practices.
• Ensure licenses and certifications stay valid and up to date.
• Support a culture of safety, professionalism, and ongoing improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current or previous holder of an ATPL, MPL, or CPL with an Airbus A320 type rating.
• At least 1,500 hours of flying experience on multi-pilot aircraft.
• A completed A320 full-flight simulator proficiency check within the 12 months before applying.

• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher, current or previously held.
