Job description
Position Overview
Join our Livestock team as a Swine Specialist where you will oversee key swine accounts across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Your primary responsibility will be managing these accounts to meet sales targets within budget constraints by implementing strategic and local account plans and collaborating across functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of national and local strategic account plans and manage relationships with key stakeholders using multi-channel communication strategies.
- Develop a thorough understanding of customer operations, including veterinarians and producers, to identify mutual business growth opportunities and achieve sales objectives.
- Leverage the Boehringer Ingelheim on-farm resources to support veterinary clients and assist in establishing vaccination programs on farms.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and customer needs to uncover new business opportunities and share insights and customer feedback with colleagues.
- Maintain superior technical and commercial knowledge of Boehringer Ingelheim products, competitor offerings, and disease areas relevant to swine health.
- Address initial product inquiries in compliance with company policies, collaborating closely with the Swine Veterinary Advisor to deliver exceptional technical support to customers.

- A degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
- Advanced selling, influencing, and analytical skills.
- Proven financial literacy and business insight.
