Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position based in Dubai entails performing regular pool cleaning and upkeep duties. Responsibilities include removing debris by skimming, vacuuming pool floors, scrubbing walls and tiles, and cleaning filters and skimmer baskets. The role requires testing and adjusting water chemistry by adding necessary chemicals, monitoring pumps, heaters, and other equipment to ensure proper functioning, as well as conducting visual inspections for leaks or damages. Reporting concerns to supervisors and assisting with minor repair tasks are part of the duties. Maintaining cleaning tools, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols, and professionally interacting with clients and coworkers on site are expected.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in fundamental pool cleaning tasks such as skimming, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, and filter maintenance.
• Understanding of water testing techniques and chemical balancing involving chlorine, pH levels, and alkalinity, plus safe chemical handling.
• Capability to carry out regular equipment inspections of pumps, filters, heaters, and to recognize visible defects.
• Attention to detail, reliability in following cleaning schedules, and dedication to health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Physical fitness to work outdoors under different weather conditions, ability to lift moderate weights, and sustain standing or moving for prolonged durations.
• Basic English communication skills for following instructions and providing clear updates.
• Previous experience in pool maintenance or related facility cleaning is beneficial.
• Legal eligibility to work on site in Dubai; possession of a valid driver's license or dependable transportation is preferred.
