Job description
Role overview
This is a senior executive opportunity for a Customer Success leader in the United States. The role is centered on building and scaling the post-sales organization within a fast-growing, technically sophisticated ad tech setting. You will own the strategy for expanding revenue across an established publisher portfolio, helping customers make full use of the platform to improve monetization results.
The position combines commercial leadership with strong technical fluency in programmatic advertising. You will be accountable for retention, growth, and service quality, while also creating stronger operating discipline across layered teams. As a key escalation leader, you will guide major enterprise publisher relationships and work closely with engineering, yield, product, onboarding, and support teams to deliver measurable business impact.
Key accountabilities
- Direct the full Customer Success function with responsibility for growth, retention, and operational excellence across a worldwide publisher base.
- Build and own the expansion plan for the customer portfolio, leading upsell and cross-sell efforts that increase publisher revenue through broader platform adoption.
- Collaborate with technical and yield specialists to develop scalable optimization approaches that lift monetization performance across programmatic channels.
- Create proactive churn-reduction systems that flag risk early and trigger structured interventions to protect and grow revenue.
- Act as the final escalation contact for complex publisher issues, bringing both technical depth and executive-level judgment to resolution.
- Set operational standards and team design to strengthen technical capability within Customer Success and reduce reliance on escalations.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, product, onboarding, and support teams to remove friction and improve execution across the customer lifecycle.
- Represent the business in strategic publisher meetings, including senior stakeholder management and occasional customer visits.
Requirements
- At least 7 to 10+ years of experience in senior Customer Success, post-sales leadership, or executive operational roles, preferably in ad tech or similarly complex technical environments.
- Strong working knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem, including header bidding, ad serving systems, supply path optimization, and yield management concepts.
- Demonstrated success in designing and delivering revenue expansion and retention strategies with measurable financial results.
- Experience leading multi-level teams, including directors and senior managers, in technical or hybrid organizations.
- Ability to explain complex technical ideas in a way that is clear and actionable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication skills and strong executive presence in enterprise client interactions.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to connect performance data to customer outcomes and business strategy.
Benefits and work environment
- Competitive compensation package at the executive level.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- Remote-first work setup with flexibility.
- Chance to lead and scale a high-impact global Customer Success organization.
- Exposure to major enterprise publishers in a fast-moving ad tech market.
- Close collaboration with engineering, product, and revenue teams.
- High-ownership leadership role with meaningful strategic influence.
