Job description

Role overview

This is a senior executive position based in the United States, focused on leading a flagship healthcare transparency and cost-navigation platform. The role is responsible for turning the product into a scalable enterprise growth driver while improving how employers, payers, providers, and members use healthcare pricing and decision-support tools.

The position combines full profit-and-loss ownership with broad leadership across product, technology, revenue, marketing, and client success. You will set long-range strategy, strengthen operational performance, ensure platform stability, and deliver clear customer value. The role reports directly to the CEO and carries significant influence over enterprise strategy and external market positioning in a mission-driven, fast-moving environment centered on healthcare affordability and transparency.

Key accountabilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of the Bluebook business, including growth, profitability, forecasting, and strategic performance over time.
  • Set and execute a multi-year growth plan centered on market expansion, adoption, and enterprise value creation.
  • Lead annual planning activities such as budgets, operating plans, KPI setting, and executive-level performance updates.
  • Guide product strategy and roadmap decisions so they stay aligned with customer needs, market demand, and financial goals.
  • Improve platform reliability, stabilize operations, and drive better user experience and system performance.
  • Shape go-to-market direction, including market positioning, pricing, value messaging, and expansion plans.
  • Work closely with Revenue, Marketing, and Client Success teams to improve sales, retention, renewals, and account growth.
  • Act as executive sponsor for major clients and strategic partners, helping deepen relationships and improve outcomes.
  • Assess and pursue new partnerships, initiatives, and revenue opportunities that support business growth.
  • Coordinate leadership across Product, Technology, Finance, Legal, Operations, and HR to keep execution aligned with priorities.
  • Represent the platform externally as a senior voice in healthcare transparency and consumer engagement.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of progressively senior leadership experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, benefits, managed care, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success leading a business, product line, or P&L with direct responsibility for revenue and profitability.
  • Strong history of delivering growth, adoption, and measurable commercial results.
  • Hands-on experience creating and executing go-to-market plans, including pricing, positioning, and expansion strategy.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong financial capability, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Excellent strategic judgment, communication skills, and executive presence.
  • Comfort working in complex, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Background in healthcare transparency, consumer engagement, or cost containment solutions is highly desirable.
  • MBA or another advanced degree is an added advantage, along with experience working with C-suite clients and strategic partners.

Benefits

  • Competitive executive compensation package tailored to senior leadership scope and experience.
  • Full health coverage, including medical, dental, and vision, plus access to additional healthcare tools.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching and immediate vesting.
  • Remote-first setup with a high degree of flexibility and autonomy.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation, sick time, and company holidays.
  • Paid parental leave and family-oriented support benefits.
  • Employee assistance resources, including counseling and wellness support.
  • Pet insurance and employee discount programs.
  • Paid time for volunteering and community involvement.
  • Inclusive culture built around equity, teamwork, and mission-focused impact.
