Job description
Role Overview
Join a security team in London, Ontario as a surveillance-focused guard. This position centers on close observation, quick judgment, and the ability to identify unusual activity before it turns into a larger issue. You may be placed in settings such as security operations centres, call centres, construction sites, parking areas, or gatehouses.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep watch over security systems and screen feeds to spot suspicious behaviour or activity.
- React promptly when an incident or possible threat arises.
- Record events clearly and prepare detailed incident reports.
- Carry out routine foot patrols to help maintain site safety.
- Manage entry to protected zones and verify visitor identity where required.
- Review security systems for weaknesses or technical issues that could affect protection.
- Coordinate with police or other authorities when a serious incident or emergency occurs.
Candidate Profile
The ideal person is highly observant, comfortable working with technology, and able to stay focused for long periods. Strong eyesight, reliable reporting skills, and the physical ability to remain on your feet and move around during a shift are important for success in this role.

Eligibility and Requirements
