Role overview
RDNS Group is hiring caring, dependable, and energetic Support Workers for its Live My Life team in Auckland. The role supports young people in their own homes and offers a chance for an Allied Health student, or someone studying a related discipline, to turn classroom learning into practical, real-life experience while making a meaningful difference.

Working arrangement
- Shifts are available from Monday to Friday, with some weekend shifts where applicable.
- The role begins with a minimum commitment of 10 to 15 hours per week.
- There may be opportunities to take on additional hours with other clients over time.
Key duties
- Help clients with everyday tasks, including preparing meals and encouraging greater independence.
- Plan and participate in creative, enjoyable, and purposeful activities such as arts, outings, and sensory play.
- Support community access, including visits to parks, cafés, and social activities.
- Assist with behavioural support needs under guidance from the broader team.
- Communicate with clients, including people who are non-verbal, by noticing cues and building rapport.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and engaging atmosphere.
