Role overview
This position is for a Catering Support Worker at Sandhill Nursing Home in Launceston, Tasmania. You will assist the Chef or Chef Manager and work alongside the team to provide residents with a dependable, high-quality catering service within the home.
What the role involves
- Help maintain the catering service in line with all regulatory and compliance obligations.
- Complete the required food safety documentation in accordance with legislation.
- Carry out day-to-day duties in line with the Food Safety Program at all times.
- Wear the correct uniform, protective clothing, and footwear while on duty.
- Apply Food Safety Plan procedures to minimise the risk of cross-contamination.
- Prepare daily meals and beverages for residents, including meals that meet special dietary needs as directed by the Chef Manager or Chef/Cook.
