Role Overview
NTT DATA is looking for a Support Engineer (L1) to join our Chennai team. This position involves providing expert operational support for enterprise data platforms, ensuring smooth 24×7 production environment availability, and being part of a dynamic, innovative organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide continuous monitoring and maintenance of production data pipelines round-the-clock, including shift rotations.
- Perform initial incident assessment, prioritization, and classification based on severity.
- Execute documented runbooks and standardized recovery procedures to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain clear communication regarding incident status, update tickets, and generate status reports.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Level 2 support with appropriate diagnostic information.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience supporting Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI in live production environments.
- Ability to operate effectively within a rotating shift structure supporting 24×7 operations.
