Role overview

A hiring consultancy is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to support purchasing and supplier coordination activities in Tirana, Albania.

Core responsibilities

  • Source, assess, and compare potential suppliers.
  • Obtain quotations and negotiate for the most favorable commercial terms.
  • Create purchase orders and follow up on their progress.
  • Track inventory levels and company supply needs.
  • Ensure materials and services are delivered on time and meet required standards.
  • Work closely with other departments to understand and process buying requests.
  • Keep supplier files, contracts, and related records up to date.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in purchasing or a similar function is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation ability and analytical thinking.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Well-developed organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
