Job description
Team Overview
You will be part of Nike’s Marketplace Supply Chain (MSC) organization, which focuses on delivering the right product to the right place at the right time through effective supply chain and fulfillment support. The team continuously adapts its approach to keep pace with changing consumer expectations in a digitally connected marketplace.
Role Summary
This position is a core individual contributor role within MSC, centered on tactical order management. Success in the role comes from using reporting and business insights to improve on-time product delivery and support Nike’s profitability. You will build and maintain strong working relationships with internal cross-functional teams by interpreting reports, using operational tools, and communicating through phone and email. The role also involves carrying out desk-level order book tasks that help meet overall order book and business KPIs.
What You Will Do
You will manage end-to-end order activity, solve operational issues, and help keep the order book shippable. The job requires clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders, plus an ability to spot risks and opportunities that could affect Nike and its partners. You will use data and reporting to support execution and to share delivery visibility with stakeholders. Monitoring key performance indicators, escalating concerns, and recommending actions will also be part of the work. In addition, you will oversee the overall order book along with key initiatives and assortments.
- Partner across functions to support a healthy order book and complete order management tasks such as pricing fixes, cancel and return processing, and cancel-date updates.
- Track product delivery, order fill rates, shipment progress, and return activity proactively.
- Answer questions and provide visibility on order status and tracking details.
- Prepare and communicate standard as well as ad hoc reports that support daily execution.
- Troubleshoot issues on a day-to-day basis and escalate matters when needed.
- Share process and capability information with key stakeholders.
- Offer peer support through mentorship and training.
What We’re Looking For
The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline, though equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training may also be considered. Around 2 years of experience is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important, along with excellent time management and close attention to detail. The role calls for someone who can analyze data and use it to influence decisions. Familiarity with SAP and Excel is helpful, although a quick ability to learn these tools is acceptable. Background in retail or supply chain work is an added advantage.
Accommodation Support
Nike provides interview accommodations for candidates who need accessibility support. Available options may include screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible single-location in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other reasonable modifications. If assistance is needed during the application process because of a disability, candidates can request accommodation through the designated form.
Additional Information
This role is located in Beaverton, Oregon and is a full-time onsite position. The posting does not specify salary, number of openings, application deadline, or start date.
