Overview

PepsiCo Foods Canada is actively seeking a New Graduate Team Supervisor to join the team at the Quaker Facility located in Peterborough, Ontario, with an additional location in Trenton, Ontario. This full-time position requires flexibility to work a range of shifts including afternoons and evenings.

The role centers on leading production teams towards achieving key performance measures related to quality, cost efficiency, service, and safety while fostering development among team members on various production lines. You will collaborate closely with leaders across departments such as Quality, Operations, Packaging, Processing, Traffic, Warehouse, and Maintenance to inspire and motivate your team, remove obstacles, and resolve challenges. This position offers an opportunity to build leadership capabilities through hands-on business exposure and continuous improvement training aimed at successfully managing frontline teams.

Compensation and Benefits

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and technical assistance to your team.
  • Manage team development and deliver results across quality, cost, service, and safety metrics.
  • Guide individuals and the team in solving routine and complex operational challenges.
  • Inspire and motivate the team to meet performance goals.
  • Lead daily meetings focused on performance and operational updates.
  • Make operational decisions that affect business outcomes on a daily basis.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree attained in 2024, 2025, or anticipated graduation by May 2026.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or operations settings preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years or more of supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Proficiency in coaching and overseeing others' performance to foster team progress.
  • Ability to instruct, teach, and guide individuals clearly.
  • Organizational skills including planning and prioritization.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting expertise.
  • Understanding of general regulatory and safety requirements and processes.
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude beneficial.
