About PALU

PALU is building a consumer brand for families and children with the ambition to become a leading D2C lovebrand across Europe. It can be assembled and disassembled without tools and is fully recyclable.

The business is in a growth and expansion phase, with strong financing in place and ongoing support from experienced business angels. PALU operates from its own office in central Münster.

The team is looking for someone who can step in as soon as possible.

Role overview

As Supply Chain Manager:in, you will own a key growth driver for PALU. Your mission is to make sure the right products reach customers at the right time, in the right quantity, and in the right quality. You will take responsibility for the full supply chain setup, from production planning and supplier coordination to customer experience after purchase, while working closely with the founders to build processes and structures that can scale with the company.

What you will do

  • Oversee stock levels, order flow, and movement of goods to keep product availability stable across multiple warehouse locations.
  • Plan production and demand using sales performance, forecasts, and campaign inputs to avoid stock shortages and excessive inventory.
  • Act as the main contact for suppliers in Europe and worldwide, handling negotiations, scheduling, orders, deliveries, and transport coordination.
  • Improve fulfillment and shipping processes so products can be delivered efficiently in Germany and abroad, while removing bottlenecks and enabling growth.
  • Research and evaluate new suppliers together with the team to expand the assortment and strengthen existing supply chains.
  • Take ownership of customer experience after the sale, initially handling inquiries directly and later defining processes and standards for excellent service.

What you should bring

  • A completed degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a similar field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain, ideally in a startup, e-commerce, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong process thinking, numerical understanding, and the ability to manage operational topics in a structured way.
  • A practical, solution-focused, and independent working style, with the ability to stay on top of several parallel tasks.
  • Confidence in dealing with suppliers, service providers, and external partners, including clear follow-up and direct communication.
  • Interest in taking ownership and actively shaping and improving processes instead of only maintaining existing workflows.
  • A structured, dependable, and detail-oriented approach without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Genuine interest in startups, e-commerce, and operational business models, along with a desire to support PALU’s growth.

Benefits

  • High responsibility from day one, with direct influence on supply reliability, customer satisfaction, and growth.
  • The chance to build processes and standards instead of only managing existing ones.
  • Close collaboration with the founders and involvement in important operational and strategic decisions.
  • Room to grow with the company as responsibilities and development opportunities expand alongside PALU’s growth.
  • Short decision paths and quick implementation of ideas.
  • Modern equipment for productive work.
