Job description
Role Overview
An established perfume manufacturing business in Ajman is hiring a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to oversee the complete flow of materials and finished products. The role covers procurement support, production planning, inventory control, logistics coordination, and maintaining healthy stock levels for uninterrupted operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Direct the end-to-end movement of raw materials, packaging inputs, and completed perfume products.
- Track and manage inventory so production runs smoothly and products remain available.
- Work closely with procurement, production, warehouse, logistics, sales, and finance teams to keep operations aligned.
- Review production needs, material availability, and delivery schedules to avoid disruptions.
- Coordinate suppliers, freight partners, transport vendors, and warehouse activities.
- Handle domestic and international shipments, including import/export coordination and customs paperwork.
- Make sure raw materials, packaging items, and finished goods are available on time.
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain performance, lower costs, and reduce shortages or delays.
- Compile reports, demand forecasts, stock movement insights, and inventory status updates.
- Maintain adherence to company procedures, customs rules, and logistics standards.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of background in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or inventory control.
- Prior exposure to perfume, cosmetics, FMCG, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Solid understanding of UAE/GCC import and export processes, customs compliance, warehousing, and logistics operations.
- Hands-on experience in production planning, demand planning, stock control, supplier management, and shipment tracking.
- Strong skills in communication, negotiation, team leadership, and problem-solving.
- Comfortable using MS Office and ERP or inventory management systems.
- English fluency is necessary; Arabic would be an added advantage.
