Job description
About the Role
This position is a contract cover for maternity leave, supporting the current team for a 1-year period. The role calls for someone detail-oriented and practical, with a strong focus on keeping hardware, software, and IT assets properly recorded, monitored, issued, and reconciled. You will also handle purchase order processing in NetSuite and assist with procurement and logistics tasks that help daily operations stay on track.
Inventory & Asset Management
- Keep inventory data accurate for hardware, software, and IT assets using systems such as Snipe-IT.
- Oversee the complete asset journey, including registration, release, deployment, movement between users or locations, returns, and final disposal.
- Carry out periodic stock checks and match physical inventory with system entries.
- Monitor software licence renewals and subscription end dates.
Procurement & Logistics Support
- Help issue RFQs, assess vendor quotations, and coordinate with suppliers.
- Handle purchase requisitions and draft purchase orders.
- Track orders and follow up to make sure deliveries arrive on time.
- Coordinate local delivery and distribution activities.
- Assist with vendor onboarding and keep procurement records ready for audit and compliance needs.
- Work with Finance on invoice checks, payment follow-ups, and vendor account reconciliation.
- Support deployment projects and take on other related tasks as required.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory & Logistics, or a similar field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in inventory control, IT asset administration, or supply chain work.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with NetSuite or Snipe-IT will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to IT purchasing, hardware asset tracking, or software licence management is beneficial.
- Excellent organisation and analytical ability, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Self-driven and capable of handling several priorities without close supervision.
